What is the PTA?

It is a group of teachers, parents and carers of pupils at Millfield First & Nursery School.

What is the aim of the PTA?

To raise money for the School and Nursery to spend on items that might not otherwise be available from the normal school budget.

What is the money spent on?

Books, indoor and outdoor play equipment, library, storage, IT equipment and anything that will benefit the School and pupils.

How is the money raised?

Various events:

• Christmas and Summer Fayres
• Egg hunts
• Discos
• Movie Nights etc

Passive fund raising schemes:

• Tesco Vouchers
• Walkers for Books etc

We are also registered online with Easyfundraising, where you can donate to the School when you shop.

How can I help?

• By attending and participating in the events organised
• Helping with the stalls at an event or helping to organise it
• By joining the PTA and becoming involved, suggesting new ideas and helping to plan and implement these events.
