NURSERY TRIP TO STANDALONE FARM
Nursery enjoyed a great trip to Standalone Farm on Monday 3rd July.
SAVE OUR TREE!
In Reception the children have been reading the book 'Owl Babies'. The children received a letter from the Owls saying the tree they live in will be chopped down. The children were very worried. They made posters and held a protest. The children persuaded the woodcutters not to chop the tree down. They were very happy.
Father's Day in Reception
The Reception children enjoyed celebrating Father's Day in school on Monday 19th June. We invited Dads, Grandads and Uncles to share their favourite stories with us. A wonderful time was had by all.
Shepreth Wildlife Park
The Reception children visited Shepreth Wildlife Park on Friday 16th June. They loved seeing all the animals, especially the bats!
Mother's Day in Nursery
Cedar Class all enjoyed our Stay & Play for Mother's Day.
Pancake Day in Nursery

Nursery Chinese New Year
On Thursday, 9th February, our parents and grandparents visited Nursery to help us celebrate Chinese New Year.
Cedar Class Shape Walk
Cedar Class had great fun out and about looking for 2D and 3D shapes.
Nursery 'Stay & Play'
Nursery invited all family members to our 'Stay & Play' on Friday 9th December 2016. We had fun making Christmas Decorations. Thank you to everyone that came.
People Who Help Us
Reception have been learning about 'People who help us'.
They have been very lucky to have visits from a Post Worker and the Police. They also went to visit the Fire Station.
Father's Day Stay and Play
The Nursery children welcomed visitors to their classroom on Friday 17th June.
Nursery Farm Visit
The Nursery children had great fun on their trip to Standalone Farm on Thursday 16th June.
The Nursery children all had a great time singing the Nativity to their parents on Friday 11th December.
Nursery Road Safety Day
On Wednesday 9th December, the children enjoyed dressing up and learning how to safely cross the road, remembering to hold a grown-up's hand.
Police Visit to Reception Classes
The Reception Classes enjoyed a visit from the local Police on Friday 9th October as part of their topic 'People Who Help Us'.
They brought along a police dog and their off-road vehicle. The children had a wonderful time finding out about the work of the police force.
Reception trip to Buntingford Fire Station
The Reception Classes visited the Buntingford Fire Station on Friday 16th October as part of their topic 'People Who Help Us'.
Using the hose was a huge success!

Reception trip to Shepreth Wildlife Park
Reception visited Shepreth Wildlife Park on Friday 6th June. They loved seeing all the animals especially the tigers, bats and meerkats!
Nursery Spring Walk
Nursery enjoyed a Spring walk around Buntingford on Thursday 23rd April.
Red Nose Day
Nursery wore red to School on Friday 13th March for Red Nose Day.
Nursery celebrated Mother's Day in School on Thursday 12th March.
Three Billy Goats Gruff
Reception are exploring traditional tales. They had great fun with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.
They are also having fun with the new i-pads!

Nursery have been celebrating Chinese New Year with lots to make, do and eat!
Reception have had fun this term looking at different stories. As part of our 'Owl Babies' topic, we received a letter from the Owls telling us the Woodcutter was going to chop their tree down. The children worked hard creating posters and petitions to save the tree. The children enjoyed taking part in a protest which stopped the 'Woodcutter' from destroying the Owl's house.
Nursery and Reception enjoyed a trip to the Fire Station in Buntingford on Monday 7th October.
