Our School Council meets every week to discuss aspects of our school life. Miss Tetley-Isle works with the School Council.
The School Council thinks of fun things for the children to do. They think of ways to improve playtime and raise lots of money for charity such as for ‘Children in Need.’ The School Council members also greet parents at Parent Consultation meetings and help direct them around the school.
Each year in September two representatives for each class in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are elected by all the pupils to come on the School Council.
A chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary are chosen and help to make sure the meetings run smoothly. Mr Urquhart takes the minutes which are then placed on the School Council Notice Board so everyone can find out what is happening.
