We currently have the following vacancy:




We are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of groups of learners and on a 1 to 1 basis with children with special educational needs and disabilities. This post could be in a variety of year groups from the EYFS to Year 4. The position is full time (8:45am – 3:15pm), however, part time would be considered. This is a fixed term contract for a year in the first instance with potential to become permanent. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The selection process will be carried out by interview.


Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • They will be a friendly and efficient person.
  • They must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • They must have solid English and Maths skills.
  • They need the ability to prepare lessons and be flexible and adaptable.
  • They should display a patient and nurturing approach.


Previous experience within an educational setting and supporting children with SEND is desirable.  Experience and/or understanding of therapeutic approaches to behaviour management are also desirable qualities.
