Full Time Class Teacher Vacancy


We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our teaching team and help engage our children in Year 2 in exciting teaching and learning. Millfield is a well-established, but growing, First School in Buntingford.

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant Vacancy


We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of children at Millfield starting as soon as possible in the new academic year.  We are looking to offer the successful candidate part time (8:45am to 1:00pm) hours for a fixed term contract of one year in the first instance with potential to become permanent.  The selection process will be carried out by interview.


Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be a friendly and efficient person
  • They must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • They need to be flexible and adaptable, as well as display a patient and nurturing approach
  • Suitable qualifications, such as including Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths


Desirable Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an educational setting and supporting children with SEND
  • Experience and/or understanding of therapeutic approaches to behaviour management
