We currently have the following vacancy within our school.

Cleaner

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaner for every day of the week.  The hours are 3:30pm to 5:00pm (7.5 hours per week) term time only.

This is a job for someone who can ensure the school is cleaned to a high standard.  The successful candidate will be part of the cleaning team.  Working alongside a cleaning team, you will monitor and provide a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the school.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.  The post will be available from Tuesday 7th January 2020.  The post is offered on a fixed term contract basis initially for one year with a view to becoming permanent.

The main duties will include:

  • All cleaning and daily maintenance of allocated areas to specified standards and schedule.  Areas to include toilets, classrooms and general communal areas.
  • Safe operation, storage and use of domestic and industrial cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Perform duties in line with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH, reporting hazards to line manager immediately.

Salary Scale: £6.50 - £8.21 per hour depending on age
