Purpose of the Trip:
- This residential trip offers Year 4 children a fantastic opportunity to develop teamwork, independence and confidence through a variety of outdoor and educational activities.
- The trip is designed to be a fun, memorable and educational experience, helping children learn new skills and explore nature.
Key Details:
Accommodation:
- The children will stay in comfortable dormitory-style accommodation at the centre, with access to on-site facilities and supervision from school staff and trained activity leaders.
Meals:
- Full board is provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks.
- There will be options for children with dietary requirements (please inform the school of any allergies or special dietary needs in advance).
Activities:
- The children will take part in a variety of outdoor activities; please see the PowerPoint for our chosen activities.
- The aim is to build confidence, communication and collaboration skills.
Supervision and Safety:
- The children will be supervised at all times by school staff and trained professionals.
- The centre follows strict safety protocols for all activities, and are trained in first aid.
