We're Out and About with Poetry!

Still image for this video
Today we took our inspiration from the collection of nature poems in the book 'Out and About' by Shirley Hughes. In this video, we recite our favourite poem called Squirting Rainbows. We had lots of fun trying to learn the lines by heart. Why not try learning this poem yourself!

Repetition Reading

For your home learning this week, we would like you to research a topic you are interested in, such as animals or space, and write a non-chronological report using all the information you find out. Here is a video to show you what a non-chronological report should include. Can you use the shapes to help you write your own?

As we start venturing out and about, it is important that we all stay safe when near roads. Here are some activities to support this.
