• Communication friendly classrooms are good for all pupils, providing motivation and building self-esteem and self-confidence.

• Elklan was born out of a passion for supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
• Elklan have been training and supporting all our practitioners in communication and language development for children aged 5-11
• We are pleased that the dedication of Millfield staff has enabled us to gain the accreditation of Elklan Communication Friendly Setting in May 2023.  Communication and language is at the heart of everything we do and we are very proud to have been awarded this prestigious accreditation.
