Religious Education makes a unique contribution to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of children and supports wider community cohesion by promoting mutual respect and tolerance in a diverse society.
We ensure that the topics studied build upon prior learning and develop children’s knowledge and understanding of religious experiences, insights, beliefs and practices. All the main religions of the world are taught. Our assemblies aim to provide experiences, which deepen the wonder of the natural world, as well as respect and a sense of belonging to the community.
We celebrate achievements during our Celebration Assembly. Children are awarded certificates and badges for a range of reasons, including representing our school values.
