Important information
Wednesday 9th December:
We are all looking forward to welcoming you back to Nursery tomorrow. We have got lots of fun activities planned for you!
At home today can you complete the following activity:
With your child, please watch the video on Tapestry where Mrs White reads the story 'Dear Santa'.
With your child talk about what present your child would like for Christmas. Ask your child:
- Why they would like what they suggest?
- What the toy/item does?
- Do they know anyone with this toy/item?
- What colours are on the toy/item?
- What patterns they see on the toy/item?
Please encourage your child to talk in full sentences. If your child responds with a one word answer, please model their word into a sentence for them.
After talking with your child please encourage them to draw a picture of the present they would like. Encourage your child to use the colours and patterns they talked about on their picture. If your child would like they could have a go at writing a label, even if it is just the initial sound.
