Task 42 - Scissors.

Can you show me how you hold scissors? Remember we must be careful when we use scissors so that we do not hurt anyone. Follow my instructions in the video to make a pattern with your paper. Can you cut different shapes? What pattern have you made? I would love to see a video of you using scissors carefully.

Task 42 - Buttons!

Can you do up buttons on a shirt? When you’ve managed to do them up can you undo the buttons? This skill is very good for your hand-eye co-ordination and for your fine motor control. Get those fingers moving!

Challenge: Can you help me make my lunch?

Can you find 5 objects in your home that start with the r sound?

Our sound this week is r. We always use the letter sound rather than the letter name, so this sound says rrrrrrrrrr and makes a long sound.

Can you find 5 things that start with a r sound?

Challenge: what are the words that i am sounding out? (2nd video) (red, run, ring). Can you write any of them?

Task 30: creating coin rubbings

Still image for this video
Can you create some rubbings? I used coins but you could have a go at creating a rubbing of anything you can find. I am looking forward to seeing all the rubbings from both Seedling and Sapling Classes.

Task 28 - Fine Motor Control

Can you use some tweezers to move small items from one plate to another? I have used sultanas but you could use peas, rice or anything small you can find at home. You can upload pictures and videos on Tapestry. I am looking forward to seeing how well you do!

As we start venturing out and about, it is important that we all stay safe when near roads. Here are some activities to support this.
