Throughout Millfield, History is taught as part of a topic. Within EYFS and Key Stage 1, learning centres around the children’s living memory, extending to include significant historical events, places and people. Key Stage 2 learning extends upon their EYFS and KS1 knowledge to deepen their understanding and also focuses on historical events further back in time e.g. Iron Age. Children learn through a range of activities, which include visits, role-play and research.
