Meet the Year 2 Teaching Team:

Welcome to Year 2. We are looking forward to all the exciting learning we will be doing this year. 

Important Information:

• PE is twice a week. Our allocated days are Tuesday and Friday each week. The children will need to wear PE kits for these sessions. Please send your child to school in their PE kit on their allocated days. If children wear earrings, these should be studs.
• Each week we will post the learning for next week on a tab on this page. Please check this weekly as it will contain the key learning for Year 2, as well as links and ideas to help you support your child at home. 
• On Wednesdays we have library time, where the children can swap their reading books and, every fortnight, can swap their library books and spend some time reading in the library. 
• Please send your child into school with a plastic water bottle as metal water bottles may cause accidents. 
• Home learning is sent home on a Thursday and the children have one week to complete it and return it to school by the following Thursday. They will be given a spelling task and maths task to complete.
