The Cabin is run by Millfield and is the umbrella name for Breakfast and After School Clubs.  The Cabin provision is offered for children in Reception to Year 4.

The Cabin Breakfast Club Provision
Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:45am-8:45am and is offered every morning of the school week.

We encourage the children to develop their independence via a self-service breakfast; the children are offered a wide range of healthy foods including: toast, cereals and yogurts. This is accompanied by apple juice, orange juice, milk or water to drink.

We support the children to build friendships with children of different ages and they can take part in a range of activities including; crafts, games and reading etc.

The Cabin After School Club Provision

Our After School Club runs from 3:15pm-5:15pm Monday to Thursday. Your child can also attend from 4:15pm after an Extra-Curricular Club.

We offer the children a fruit snack when they arrive and a light tea (4:30pm) before they go home. The tea may consist of; beans on toast, cheesy muffins, pizza wraps, pasta and sauce and much more!

We encourage the children to use the resources on offer, from toys to books and sports equipment.

Our wonderful outside space and resources are accessed weather permitting.

Booking and Payment

We use an online booking and payment system for The Cabin provision: Magicbooking. This will provide you with access to your account at any time and will allow you to book and pay online.

All bookings and payments for The Cabin provision will need to be made via Magicbooking.

You will be required to initially register before booking and paying for sessions in advance. This is the only system we use for booking and payments. Please ensure you book and pay prior to your child attending The Cabin provision. When registering, please read the terms and conditions; you will be required to agree to these in order to use this provision.

With this booking and payment system, you are able to book and pay for a place for your child up to the start of any session. This means if you require a place for your child last minute, you will need to register (if you haven’t already), book and pay. Millfield Office are not able to book this on your behalf. The recommendation is that you create an account with Magicbooking so places can be booked and paid for easily and quickly when/if required.

Please be mindful that The Cabin staff all have roles at Millfield during the school day so will be busy supporting children during school hours, therefore, please don’t expect a response during this time.
