Tuesday

9:15am 2026-27 Nursery (2- & 3-year-olds) & Reception Prospective Parent/Carer Open Morning: Here at Millfield, we look forward to welcoming prospective parents with children starting school in September 2026 for a tour to see our school in action.

6:00pm Online booking system opens to book parent/carer consultations.

As shared within our school calendar and via email, this term we will be holding our parent/carer consultations at Millfield with your child’s class teacher on Tuesday 21^st October (3:30pm – 7:00pm) and Thursday 23^rd October (3:30pm – 5:30pm).

The online booking system opens at 6:00pm and closes on Tuesday 14^th October at 10:00pm. Please note, in order for teachers to hold a meeting for every child, there is only availability for one meeting per child. For exceptional circumstances, please email your child’s class teacher.

Wednesday

Individual and Sibling Photographs: Please see the email sent for more information. Children in Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4, who usually have PE on Wednesdays, should come to school wearing their school uniform and bring their PE kit with them to change into later in the day.

Thursday

National Poetry Day: We will be sharing poems in our classes today. We would like to invite children to bring in a poem, this maybe in a book or on a piece of paper, to share with their friends. We are looking forward to reading and sharing a variety of poetry with our children.

Buntingford School of Dance Workshop: KS2 children have the opportunity to take part in taster sessions. All Year 3 & Year 4 children should come to school wearing their PE kit. Please see the email sent for further information.

Celebration Assembly for Millfield children.

Attendance: Whole school attendance this week was 96.12%.  Well done to Willow Class who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 99%.
