National Anti-Bullying Week: The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2025 is “Power for Good,” reminding us that everyone has the ability to make a positive difference. More details can be found at anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk. Throughout the week, children will take part in class activities that explore what it means to use our power for good.

Monday

🧦 Odd Sock Day: Children, staff and families are invited to wear their most colourful and quirky mismatched socks to school! πŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ’š This helps us celebrate our differences and show support for a world where everyone is accepted just as they are πŸŒπŸ’«.

 

There will be a special assembly to bring our whole school together to reflect on the importance of kindness πŸ’•, respect πŸ™Œ and standing up for others πŸ’ͺ.

Tuesday

🌸 Remembrance Day: As part of our Remembrance Day observance, children will take part in a moment of silence to show respect and gratitude for those who have served.


Look out for our beautiful poppy displays that will be ‘popping up’ on our classroom doors or windows this week! 🌸

Wednesday

πŸƒ‍β™‚οΈπŸƒ‍♀️ Year 3 & 4 Cross Country Event at Edwinstree: Please see the email sent for further information. All children in Year 3 and Year 4 will need to wear their PE kit πŸ‘• and trainers πŸ‘Ÿ to school, so they are ready to enjoy the experience. They will also need to bring a named water bottle πŸ’§ and coat πŸ§₯.

Friday

πŸ’› Children in Need Day:  We are inviting all children and staff to participate in a non-school uniform day. To make this day special, if possible, please wear spotty clothes and/or accessories. Whether it's polka dots, stripes or any kind of spotted attire, let your creativity shine! This is our opportunity to show our support for Children in Need in a colourful and playful way. Please do not feel you have to buy anything new.

🌟Attendance: Whole school attendance this week was 96.39%. Well done to Willow Class 🌳who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 99.1%.
