At Millfield, we expect all children to wear our school uniform.

Uniform options:

• Grey, black or navy blue skirt, culottes, shorts or trousers
• White polo shirt (optional with school logo - purchase online)
• Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo (purchase online)
• White, grey, black or navy blue socks / tights
• Black plain flat shoes (not trainers)
• Wellington boots (required to be left in school)
• Book bag with school logo (essential for all children - purchase online) 

Additional Summer Uniform Options:

• Blue and white checked summer dress
• Sports cap (optional with school logo - purchase online)

PE Kit:

• Black or navy blue shorts or jogging bottoms
• House coloured t-shirt with school logo * (purchase online)
• Optional House coloured hoodie with school logo * (purchase online) or Black or Navy blue plain sweatshirt (a school sweatshirt/cardigan with logo could be worn)
• White, grey, black or navy blue socks
• Trainers 

* Please order t-shirts and hoodies in the house colour allocated to your child.

Additional Required Information

Long hair needs to be tied back and hairbands must be plain black or navy blue and not too large.  Extreme hair colouring is not permitted.

Sunglasses are permitted in school.

For health and safety reasons, no jewellery is permitted except small plain stud earrings and sensible watches. For a First School, sensible watches do not include 'smart watches'. Earrings must not be worn for PE lessons. If jewellery is worn to school, it is the child's responsibility at all times. 

Children are encouraged to bring in water on a daily basis in a suitable transparent, named, sports top bottle.  For health and safety reasons, metal water bottles are not permitted in school.  We request that no drinks, other than water, are sent in to school.

Please remove any nail varnish before your child comes to school as it is not permitted in school.

Pre-loved uniform is sold throughout the year during school events by the Millfield PTA.

Support with School Uniform

If your child is eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant and you would like support with school uniform, please contact the school office. A range of uniform items are available to assist families.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties in purchasing school uniform, please contact the school office where confidential support can be offered to ensure all children have the uniform they need.

If your child struggles to wear a specific school uniform item, please contact the SENDCo for support and guidance. We are committed to working with families to ensure all pupils feel comfortable and included in our school community.
