9:00 – 10:00am Mini Millfield: We are looking forward to welcoming families to our next Mini Millfield session for children aged birth to 4 years. Little ones can enjoy messy play, music, stories and a snack – all for just £1 per child. No booking required – just come along. We can’t wait to see you!

The Great Fire of London activity in Year 2: Year 2 children will be creating models of 17th Century houses as part of their learning about the Great Fire of London. Children will explore how the narrow streets and wooden buildings helped the fire spread quickly across the city. With support from Mr Ridge, the children will carefully set their models alight to observe how easily the fire did travel from house to house!

Book Fair: Spark a love of reading at our Book Fair! Children will enjoy book-themed workshops and activities during the school day.

3:20pm – 3:45pm Families are invited to visit after school (in the school hall) to purchase or order books. Every book bought helps us earn FREE new books for our school. Please enter and exit through the car park entrance. Please see the letter sent out for more information.

9:15am 2026-27 Nursery (2- & 3-year-olds) & Reception Prospective Parent/Carer Open Morning: Here at Millfield, we look forward to welcoming prospective parents with children starting school in September 2026 for a tour to see our school in action. If you haven’t already booked your place, please contact the School Office on 01763 271717.

8:45 – 9:00am Family Friday Reading Session: As scheduled, we look forward to welcoming Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 parents/carers to our Reading Family Friday session for you to enjoy celebrating your child’s learning with them.

Edwinstree readers will be visiting Millfield weekly to read with a range of KS1 and KS2 children.

🪩KS1 & 2 Halloween Discos: Thank you to the Millfield PTA for arranging our KS1 and KS2 discos. It’s a great chance for the children to dance, have fun and spend time with friends. Please see the information sent out to book your child a place.
