Message from Mrs Kennedy-Weeks

It was a pleasure to see so many Millfield children and families at the Remembrance Service in Buntingford last Sunday. I felt very proud of our Year 4 children, who represented our school and placed the Millfield wreath carefully by the war memorial.

We’ve had another busy week at Millfield. We all enjoyed participating in Odd Socks Day! It was great to see our children embracing the opportunity to wear their most colourful and quirky mismatched socks to school. This event allowed us to celebrate our differences and express support for a world where everyone is accepted just as they are. It was a great start to our anti-bullying week.

Year 3 and 4 children were excited to visit Edwinstree School this week when they took part in a Cross Country Event. Children supported one another to complete this challenge – a big well done to all our Year 3 and 4 runners.

Our EYFS and KS1 children had a delightful time participating in the Hungry Caterpillar Food Technology lessons, courtesy of Herts Catering Limited. These lessons not only provided an educational experience but also a fun and engaging way to learn about food.

There’s been lots of spots at Millfield today! This has been a colourful way to show our support for Children in Need. Thank you to everyone for your kind donations; we are currently at £130. Please click on the following link should you wish to contribute:
