Message from Mrs Kennedy-Weeks:

There has been a very Christmassy buzz throughout the school this week! Children have enjoyed a range of Christmas fun; from Christmas dinner to festive crafts and class parties, as well as singing along to Christmas songs. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Millfield!

We were so pleased to still be able to produce some Christmas performances even with our ‘Outbreak Plan’ in place. Please see Year group emails for further information. Year 1 have posted wonderful clips of Christmas songs on the school website. Year 2 have performed ‘Everybody Loves a Baby’, which Year 2 parents/carers have received a link for. Within the EYFS, Christmas nativity activities were enjoyed and have been shared via Tapestry for parents/carers.

As always, staff are all very proud of Millfield children this term. All houses have earned a collective record number of house points this term. Orange House were the termly winners with over 600 tokens.

We look forward to welcoming Millfield children back to school on Thursday 6th January 2022.

All staff at Millfield wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Stay safe and take care.
