As you may be aware, the National Education Union intend to carry out further days of strike action. The dates are: 5^th July 2023 and 7^th July 2023.

We are working with staff to establish the impact on teaching and learning of any strike action taken by teachers. We will be following guidance from the Department for Education and the Local Authority.

Similarly to other schools, Millfield may not be running as normal on these days. We anticipate being able to provide a full update to parents/carers in due course.

Due to the likely impact of strike days, we have looked at scheduled events and have made the following change:

• Elm Class Assembly scheduled for Wednesday 5^th July will now take place on Friday 14^th July at 9:05am.
