  Blue, our new school dog, is already building relationships with Millfield children and staff. Like children and staff, Tilly has warmly welcomed Blue to Millfield.

  

• Governor morning

  It was lovely to welcome Millfield Governors into school for a tour where they saw children and staff in action. They were impressed with how focussed children were with their learning and were thrilled with how keen children were to share information about Millfield.

• Skipping Day:

  The children enjoyed skipping with their classes today. Children had the opportunity to develop their skipping skills and take part in a variety of skipping challenges. We thought about how skipping can keep us healthy and is a fun form of exercise.

  Monday	Art Competition: The Art Faculty have arranged our termly Art Competition where children will have the option to choose a piece of their art learning to enter. The competition is judged by Millfield Governors and the chosen pieces of art from each class are proudly displayed in our hall Art Gallery.   World Water Day Assembly: World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the importance of safe water.

  Friday	Governor Morning: Today we welcome Millfield Governors into school for a tour of Millfield where they will see children and staff in action.   National Skipping Day: Please see email communication sent out on 1st March 2022 for more information. All children will need to come into school wearing their PE kit on this day.   Year 1: Please see email communication sent out for further information. On this day, Year 1 children are invited to bring in a hero/action toy into school (please ensure this is in a labelled bag).   Year 4 residential trip meeting: Please see email communication for further details. Year 4 parents/carers are invited into school at 2:30pm to find out more information about the up and coming Year 4 trip, please enter the hall via the carpark door.

   

• Milk letter:

  Please see a letter sent home today regarding milk for your child in school. If you wish your child to have milk during the school day, please complete the actions within the letter. This is due by Monday 28^th March 2022.

• Red Nose Day:

  Millfield children and staff looked amazing in red today with their mad hair! Thank you for all your efforts and kind donations for this fantastic charity.

  The week started with an exciting experiment involving toothpaste in assembly! Over the week children explored scientific concepts in fun and engaging activities within their classes.
