Folk Band Concerts: Megson, a folk duo, performed two live concerts for Millfield children this week. Their performances featured Stu playing a guitar and mandolin and Debbie playing an accordion and tin whistle as backing to their vocal harmonies. Children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in these interactive concerts. It was great to hear children singing along and very quickly picking up the actions to Megon’s songs. Take a look at the following links to hear a sample of their songs:

Governor Open Morning: It was an absolute delight to show Millfield Governors our school on Tuesday this week. During a morning tour of the school, they saw our amazing children and staff in action. Governors commented on how engaged all children were with their learning and how the environment and resources helped to support children. A big thank you to Millfield Governors for their support and challenge.

Welcome to the start of the Summer term! Millfield children have returned to school after the Easter break full of enthusiasm and motivation. On Monday in assembly we created an acrostic poem highlighting elements of a ‘new term’. Summer event dates have been confirmed and can be viewed on our calendar on the school website: https://www.millfield.herts.sch.uk/diary/grid/2024/04/
