We had an exciting and energetic Maths Day! The children had a fantastic time celebrating all things maths, from rocking out in their Times Tables Rock Stars outfits to diving into fun, hands-on number challenges across the school. The enthusiasm and creativity shown by the children (and staff!) was wonderful to see. Whether they were solving tricky puzzles, competing in friendly times tables battles or showing off their best rock star looks, everyone embraced the spirit of the day with joy and determination.
Thank you for your support with costumes, encouragement and helping make maths feel fun and meaningful for our learners. Days like this help build confidence and a love for learning.
It was a real delight to welcome our Nursery parents into school this week for the stay and play sessions. The children were incredibly excited and proud, eagerly showing their parents and carers around their learning and play areas and sharing all the wonderful things they do each day.
Whole school attendance this week was 89.19%. Well done ๐ to Willow Class who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 97.5% ๐๐.
Children will be bringing home a Bag2School donation bag this week. If you would like to participate, please read the relevant email and follow the instruction on the bag.

We are thrilled to share that a school meeting room has been transformed into an exciting new multi-purpose space for both children and staff to enjoy. Designed with comfort, creativity and collaboration in mind, after the half term break, the room will offer a ‘home away from home’ feel, featuring a cosy soft sofa area that invites group learning, discussion and reflection in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Alongside this, there are large tables at varying heights to support a wide range of activities, from collaborative projects and creative work to quieter, focused tasks.
An exciting future development for this space is the creation of a dedicated woodwork area, including childโappropriate woodwork benches. This will further strengthen our Design and Technology provision, giving children valuable hands-on opportunities to design, build and problem-solve. With the support and guidance of staff, children will use the space both individually and in groups, exploring new skills, sharing ideas and, most importantly, having fun. We are incredibly proud to be developing this fantastic new facility and cannot wait to see it come to life as a place of learning, creativity and enjoyment for our whole school community.
