  Wednesday	New Class Information will be sent home with your child.
  Thursday	Transition Day: This is a transition day for all Millfield children. Current Millfield children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 will all experience time with their teacher and allocated year group staff for September 2021. This opportunity will take place in their current classrooms and/or outside to ensure staff and children remain COVID-19 safe.   As Year 4 parents/carers will know, the Year 4 transition day to middle schools has been cancelled by HCC. You will have received a letter from the middle schools regarding further information. Over this week, Year 4 children will be completing the tailored transition activities sent from the middle schools.   Art Day: The whole school will focus learning on a collectively chosen artist; Jean-Michel Basquait. The children will create their own interpretations based on his work.

• COVID-19:

  After receiving Hertfordshire County Council COVID-19 related information last week (sent out to parent/carers within the weekly reminders on Friday 25^th June 2021), as COVID-19 cases in Hertfordshire are rising, we would very much encourage and appreciate the continued wearing of face coverings whilst on the school site at drop off and collection times. Thank you for your support to minimise the transmission of COVID-19.
