• 🗺️Year 2 Mini Explorers:

  Our Year 2 children turned into Mini Explorers as they set off on a short adventure around Buntingford! They enjoyed discovering more about our local area and even carried out their own traffic survey. 🚗🚙🚴‍♀️

   

  The walk was a brilliant way to bring their geography learning to life as they spotted different vehicles and thought about how our town is used. 

   

  A wonderful morning of curiosity, exploration and learning! 🌟

  Monday	⛪Reception children will be visiting St Peters Church in Buntingford.   🥁🎶Drumming Club Assembly for children led by Miss Pavey.
  Tuesday	NHS Height, Weight & Vision Screening for Reception children with the School Nursing Team.
  Wednesday	🎄👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Nursery Christmas Stay and Play Sessions for Parents: Please see individual times communicated to Nursery parents by the Nursery Team.
  Thursday	🗺️Year 2 Mini Explorers Day: Year 2 will be going on a short walk around Buntingford to explore our local area and carry out a simple traffic survey. This will help support their geography learning as they observe different types of vehicles and think about how our town is used. The walk will take place during the school day and children will be accompanied by staff. Please ensure your child has a coat and sensible footwear. 🧥👟   👼Reception Nativity Dress Rehearsal to KS1 & KS2 children. ⭐
  Friday	🎄🧥Millfield Christmas Jumper Day for children and staff. Please note, we are aware that the National Christmas Jumper Day is on Thursday, however, the children have decided that they would prefer to wear Christmassy clothes on the same day as Christmas Friendship Ladders. 🎅✨   ✂️🎨🎁Christmas Craft Friendship Ladder Activities for KS1 & KS2 children.   📚Edwinstree Readers: Edwinstree children, accompanied by staff, will read with our KS2 children. This initiative helps promote a love of reading and provides valuable opportunities for partnership and collaboration between the schools.   🎅🎄🎉PTA Christmas Fair: Please come and join us at the PTA Christmas Fair held at Millfield 4:00 – 6:00pm.

   

• 🎅🔍Search for Santa

  The Early Years pantomime, Search for Santa, was a big hit with Reception and Seedling Nursery children. ⭐🎭The Children sang along to songs and had great fun! 🎶😊✨

  

• ☕Coffee Morning

  The Inclusion Team thoroughly enjoyed meeting with parents and carers at the recent coffee morning held at Millfield. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect over a drink and a chat, and we hope it provided a relaxed space for discussions about support for our children. 💬

   

  We would love to see even more of our families at future events like this, as it’s a great way to build strong partnerships and ensure we are working together to support the needs of all our children.

  Whole school attendance this week was 93.67%. Well done to Oak Class🌳who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 97.3%.
