It was wonderful to welcome parents/carers into school to celebrate National Handwriting Day today. βοΈβ¨
The children were so excited to share their learning and proudly showed how they have been focusing in class on letter formation and neat presentation. There was a real buzz in the school as families joined in, admired the progress being made and saw first-hand how hard the children have been practising.π

πΏ Eco Action Team: RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch π¦: Our Eco Action Team will be taking part in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch, a national event that encourages children to observe and learn about the birds in our school environment. The children will be exploring the school grounds, as well as spotting and counting different birds. A lovely opportunity for outdoor learning, teamwork and connecting with nature! π |

Year 1 have been reading The Queen’s Hat by Steve Antony ππ
Today, the children wore their hats and tested whether they might be blown off on a windy day π¨π©!
They then described how it felt, using thoughtful and imaginative words to bring the experience to life βοΈπ
