A Special Visit to Millfield
We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Chris Hinchliff, to Millfield yesterday. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wonderful work happening in our school every day. He had the chance to see first-hand our children learning, engaging and clearly enjoying their time at school.
We were proud to hear him describe Millfield as ‘brilliant’ – a reflection of the dedication and enthusiasm of our children, staff and governors. Everyone should feel extremely proud of themselves for the positive impression they made.
During his visit, our MP also took the time to listen carefully to some of the challenges we are currently facing, particularly around the issue of an increase in local school places at a time of declining national birth rates. We truly appreciate his attention to these important concerns.
A big thank you to all the children, staff and governors who helped make the visit so memorable.
Luton Town Ladies Football Club Visit
We were thrilled to welcome Amber Leighton from Luton Town Ladies Football Club to Millfield this week for exciting football sessions with our Key Stage 2 children.
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic time taking part in the activities and getting a taste of what it’s like to train as a professional footballer. The sessions were full of energy, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles!
A big thank you to Amber for inspiring our children and helping them develop their skills and teamwork through sport.
