We had such a wonderful time welcoming parents and carers into Nursery this week for our Stay and Play sessions. The children were so proud to share their favourite learning and play areas, and it was great to see families exploring together. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
Nursery children thoroughly enjoyed their Spring Walk around Buntingford. They were keen to explore nature, spot blooming flowers, listen to birds sing and enjoy the fresh air. It was a wonderful adventure full of curiosity and joy! Well done Nursery for being great representatives of Millfield.

This morning, KS2 members of the Eco Action Team planted five new apple trees at the far corner of the school field as part of the Veolia Orchard campaign, supported by four employees from Veolia. π
The campaign, run in partnership with East and North Hertfordshire Councils, gives young people the chance to work with nature while improving local biodiversity. All the orchard trees planted across the UK come from the same mother tree, linking each one to a nationwide network. π±π¬π§
Thank you to Veolia for providing this wonderful opportunity for our Eco Action Team and for the apple trees. π³

The Cabin Breakfast Club had an amazing start to the day this morning!
πΆThe room was full of energy as the children enjoyed moving, dancing and having lots of fun together before heading off to their classrooms.

Whole school attendance this week was 94.49%. Well done π to Rowan Class who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 98.6% ππ.
