Love your Homestart Day: This day will celebrate and raise awareness of Homestart in our local community (no donations are required). This will be a non-school uniform day for all at Millfield. Children are encouraged to wear a colour (or colours), which represent Homestart. The colours are: red, purple, orange and blue. A letter will follow on Monday 14th June to provide more information about Homestart as a community provision. |
To view information about year group learning for next week please click on the following link to year group pages on our school website. Please then find the icon titled ‘Forthcoming Learning’.
Children’s exercise books from the last academic year of 2019-20 will be sent home over the next few weeks. We hope your child enjoys looking through and sharing this learning.
The Summer term certainly feels like summer now as we are experiencing this spell of wonderful weather – long may that continue!
It has been fantastic to welcome Millfield children back to school this week and to be able to extend learning outside where possible. With this in mind, during this weather, please ensure that children have sun cream applied before school. Please also ensure that your child brings a sun hat and water bottle to school.
Mrs Eveleigh has moved her sunflowers from inside to a bigger pot outside.
Have your sunflowers started to grow?
I’ve planted my 2 sunflower seeds.
I hope you have all planted yours or have plans to plant your sunflower seeds very soon.
Remember with this warmer weather you will need to water your sunflower everyday, but be careful to not over water it!
Today my sunflower is 0cm tall!

Return to school for all pupils after the half term break. Staggered arrival and collection system remains in place.
Class Photos: · Please ensure your child is wearing the correct school uniform, including wearing or bringing in their school cardigan or jumper. · Year 2 and Year 4 children have PE on Mondays: For today only, Year 2 and Year 4 children need to wear school uniform to school. Please ensure your child brings their PE kit (in a named bag) with them so they can change into their kit for their PE lesson. Children will then go home in their PE kits with their school uniform in their named bag.
Menu change: On our first day back from half term there has been a menu change: The Red option was meatballs and will be replaced with pork sausages.
Extra-curricular and Wrap Around Clubs start as normal this week. |
