  • International Day

    Fri 19 Jun 2026

Our KS1 and KS2 children recently took part in a fantastic International Day, where the focus was on discovering and celebrating cultures from across the world. Children spent the day travelling between different classrooms, each offering a unique experience linked to a particular country. Activities ranged from creative art projects and music to learning about traditions and interesting facts from around the world. The children fully embraced the opportunity to explore new cultures, showing great curiosity and respect throughout the day. The event was a great success, providing a fun and meaningful way to develop the children’s awareness of the wider world while celebrating diversity within our school community.

  • Year 4 Residential

    Fri 12 Jun 2026

We are incredibly proud of our Year 4 children, who had a fantastic experience at Hautbois Activity Centre. They represented our school brilliantly, especially by demonstrating our school value of Determined as they tackled a wide range of challenging activities. Well done, Year 4! I'm sure you will join me in thanking the members of staff who attended the residential and supported the Year 4 children this week.

Another big well done to the Year 4 children who remained at Millfield. They engaged enthusiastically in creative project activities and showed wonderful support for our younger pupils. They have been an absolute credit to the school, and we are very proud of the maturity and kindness they demonstrated. Thank you to the members of staff who supported the children over the week.

  • Reception Shepreth Wildlife Park School Trip

    Fri 12 Jun 2026

The Reception children had a fantastic time visiting Shepreth Wildlife Park this week! We spent some time exploring the park, getting to see lots of animals, birds, reptiles and insects, and venturing into the bat cave which was one of the children's favourite parts of the day. The children had the opportunity to explore the ‘Isandbox’, an interactive sand pit that allowed the children to explore the seasons and a variety of animals, as well as building a 'log pile' house using logs and a variety of animals and insects. The children demonstrated Millfield school values excellently and made all staff and volunteers exceptionally proud of their resilience in the wet conditions!
