Award Assemblies and End of Term Assembly
Tue 17 Dec 2024It was lovely to celebrate our half termly awards this week. Children spoke confidently about what they have learnt and what they are proud of this half term. House points and attendance awards were just some of the items celebrated within our End of Term Assembly.

Christmas Parties
Tue 17 Dec 2024Christmas parties took place this week. Children looked fantastic in their partywear and had great fun dancing and playing games with their friends and teachers.

Christmas Dinner
Tue 17 Dec 2024The Christmas dinner day was a blast! The children thoroughly enjoyed their festive lunch with friends and Millfield staff. Thank you to Herts Catering Limited for providing this lovely opportunity for our children.

Pantomimes
Tue 17 Dec 2024All Millfield children thoroughly enjoyed their pantomime experiences this week. KS1 and 2 children were an absolute delight to take to the Spotlight Theatre. Theatre staff commented on their amazing behaviour and how proud we must be of every single child – we certainly are!
The Early Years pantomime, Search for Santa, was a big hit. Children sang along to songs and had great fun!

Christmas Tree Festival
Tue 17 Dec 2024It was lovely to see Millfield children and their families at St Mary’s Church in Aspenden. Millfield’s tree looked fabulous amongst 26 other very well decorated Christmas trees. The vicar was very complementary about our tree. Our theme was ‘All Things Millfield’ and included a decorated bauble from every class, cogs to celebrate how we work together and photographs to represent our lovely school.

School finishes at 1:10pm.
Attendance: Whole school attendance this week was 93.25%. Well done to Ash Class who were the class winners for attendance with an amazing 97.4%.

Millfield Christmas Raffle
Fri 13 Dec 2024Christmas Raffle tickets will be sold on the playground on Monday before school and after school. There are lots of fantastic prizes to be won from a Christmas Hamper to vouchers such as a 5-person farm pass. Tickets can also be purchased from the school office at any time, ticket sales will close on Wednesday.

Playground Christmas Carols to Parents and Carers
Fri 13 Dec 2024It was a pleasure to see so many parents and carers join us for this festive event. It was a great experience for Key Stage 1 and 2 children to sing together dressed in Christmassy attire, surrounded by such a large and supportive audience. Your presence added to the festive cheer!

Christmas Tree Festival St Mary’s
Fri 13 Dec 2024As shared, St Marys’ Church in Aspenden are holding their First Christmas Tree Festival on Saturday 14th December (10am - 4pm) and Sunday 15th December (11am – 4pm). Millfield is pleased to be displaying our own tree with the theme ‘All Things Millfield’. You will also get the chance to vote for your three favourite trees in the people's choice competition.
