Year 4 Residential:
The Year 4 children, as well as staff, had a wonderful residential trip to Hautbois Activity Centre in Norfolk this week. They have all been full of exciting stories upon their return! Staff who attended the residential trip have shared how proud they are of every Year 4 child. They took part in so many activities with many experiencing them for the first time. Thank you to all Millfield staff who made this trip possible.
Year 3 and Year 4 Millfield Rounders Festival:
Key Stage 2 children had a fun filled afternoon taking part in a rounders festival at Millfield. It was great to watch the children playing with such passion and enjoyment. The Year 3 and 4 children were great team players, well done!
A spot of fencing for another group this morning!
Morning from Hautbois!
Well, that was a first, we had to wake over 80% of them up, to get dressed, packed and have breakfast! They've all packed something, not necessarily their own belongings and none of the cases look as lovely as when they were first opened! But never mind!
Now it's activity time!
Camp fire time!
Some of our Year 4 children have been fencing while others have been bridge building today.
The Year 3 school trip last week was a great success. We were thrilled to receive the following message from the team at John Bunyan Boat:
'We all enjoyed having you all on the boat today. Your pupils were a real credit to the school, the staff who work with them and to their parents. Thank you for joining us today.'
We're all up, we're discussing how much sleep we had or did not have! Breakfast soon! Weather not the best but we're hoping for sunshine!
